ILG Listening Post - Receiver
The Receivers for ILG Monitoring and Bandscans
The current office as of September 2024:
There are now 12 business Toshiba/Dynabook laptops (WIN11, WIN10 and two with WIN7) working for ILG of which one Toshiba Laptop is connected with
a PERSEUS SDR remote receiver running 24/7, on the left side there is a KIWI SDR2, PERSEUS SDR and a Excalibur Pro SDR WR-D33DDC receiver.
During the office hours the are internet links to approx. 35 remote receivers and during night time 15 receivers are in use scanning more than 100 frequencies a day,
in addtition to daily 250 - 900 single data/frequencies checks of non "ALE" transmissions to keep ILG database most up-to-date in the world.
Tue to the clima change most laptops are working with cooler below the unit to avoid the there will be heating problems.
There are also the AOR AR7030 and the Telefunken E1506 which was in use by the German Coastal Station "Norddeich Radio", both not in use...

There are now 10 Toshiba laptops working for ILG and the master Toshiba Laptop on centre connected with
PERSEUS SDR remote receiver updating ILG Master file on dBASE.

Toshiba Laptop in background is recording every 30 minutes a record of 10 seconds of all broadcasting bands.
The two Toshiba Laptops on top are running via remote receivers recording ALE signals, as well as the two
Toshiba Laptops on right and left side doing the same, all on different frequencies. All Toshiba Laptops are running
with WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE 64bit and all have Windows XP Mode on Windows Virtual PC.
All Laptops are operated with mouse or with TeamViewer software and data are transfered via LAN cable or WLAN.
On the background left is the AOR AR7030 receiver with DRM Option and on right side is the Telefunken E1506
professional receiver from the closed German Coastal Station "Norddeich Radio" which was located at Norden.

2x AOR AR7030 Receivers and 2x PERSEUS SDR Receivers, 1x JRC NRD-535G Receiver and 1x Telefunken E1506 Receiver of former "Norddeich Radio"
connected to 3x Long Wire antennas and 1x special ND antenna (RF-Systems DXPROMK2).
On top right Toshiba A10 laptop is doing each 30 minutes a bandscans (10 second record) 24 hours a day and 7 days a week of the 11 short wave bands.
On the top left a Toshiba A9 laptop is doing a 24 hour scan of the 17 MHz band.
In the center of the desk the Toshiba A11 is in use for updating ILG database on DBASE and a remote PERSEUS receiver located in Japan is also in use
for live bandscans in East-Asia.
In the background and on the left side 20 USB hard disks (500 GB ... 2 TB) are available with a capacity of approx. 25 TB for the PERSEUS records.
